Mian Maqsood Ahmad was a fearless caller of truth, a sincere mentor, and a steadfast soldier whose services will always remain a guiding light. A grand tribute ceremony was organized by JI Lahore, attended by prominent political, religious, and spiritual leaders from across the country.

LAHORE 05 July: "The life of the late Mian Maqsood Ahmad is a beacon of light for us. He was a sincere mentor, a fearless voice for truth, and an eternal symbol of steadfastness through every challenging phase of the movement. The void left by his passing cannot be filled for centuries."These thoughts were expressed during a grand "Condolence Reference" organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore to pay a historic tribute to the invaluable religious, political, and social services of the former Ameer of JI Punjab and distinguished leader, Mian Maqsood Ahmad. The solemn and emotionally moving ceremony, held at Alhamra Hall, Lahore, was presided over by the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate. From his youth until his last breath, he dedicated his entire life to the establishment of the Islamic system, the revival of faith, and the moral upbringing of generations."Speakers further added that he was a soldier of the Islamic movement who faced the hardships and trials of life with a smile and unshakeable resolve. Whenever the movement faced a testing time, Mian Sahib was always found on the front lines. He dedicated his life to the supremacy of Islam and to advocating for the oppressed and marginalized sections of society. His selfless and sincere contributions have become a golden chapter in history, which will continue to ignite the flame of religious devotion in the hearts of future generations.Closing Prayer: The ceremony concluded with an emotional and heartfelt prayer (Dua) for the elevation of the late Mian Maqsood Ahmad's ranks in heaven, the acceptance of his lifelong services, and for granting patience (Sabr-e-Jamil) to his family and fellow companions of the movement.
