JI Emir Felicitates Newly Elected Hamas Political Chief Khalil al-Hayya

LAHORE, July 20: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has sent a letter of congratulations to Khalil al-Hayya on his election as the head of the political bureau of Hamas, conveying his best wishes and prayers for the success of the Palestinian people's struggle for freedom.
According to a statement issued by the JI media cell on Monday, Rehman said he was delighted to learn of al-Hayya's election and extended heartfelt congratulations on behalf of himself and JI Pakistan.
The JI chief noted that the responsibility had been entrusted to al-Hayya following the leadership of the late Yahya Sinwar, a prominent leader who played an unforgettable role in the Palestinian struggle for liberation.
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman paid tribute to the Palestinians who, he said, had sacrificed their lives in the cause of freedom, praising their perseverance and steadfastness. He said their sacrifices had become a symbol of dignity, resilience and resistance for the Muslim world.
The JI emir prayed that Allah grant al-Hayya strength, steadfastness and success in fulfilling his responsibilities, bless his efforts and guide him in his mission. He also prayed for victory, freedom, dignity and relief from oppression for the Palestinian people.
The letter further expressed hope that justice, peace and fairness would prevail across the world, calling for an end to the suffering of oppressed people and praying for the uplift and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Rehman prayed for al-Hayya's safety, acceptance of his services, and that he be blessed with sincere and capable colleagues and advisers. He expressed hope that his leadership would contribute to the welfare of Palestine, the Muslim world and humanity at large.
He reiterated JI’s continued support for the Palestinian people's legitimate struggle for freedom and conveyed his best wishes for al-Hayya's success.
