Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said that after the abduction of Venezuela’s president and the filing of an illegal case against him, the neo-colonial system is once again being imposed on the world in practice.
Donald Trump, he stated on X, is openly threatening major nations by name and is emerging as an international bully. It is deeply unfortunate that global powers appear incapable of playing their key role in maintaining international peace, while American unilateralism is once again gaining strength. On one hand, Rehman said, Netanyahu—responsible for the killing of 80,000 people and the devastation of Gaza—remains a favorite of President Trump.
He further said Trump is launching attacks on his opponents. However, he added, it is also an established reality that this global system of thuggery cannot last long.
“Even within the United States, there is intense public unease over these oppressive actions, and humanity-loving and law-abiding forces around the world will have to rise up,” said the JI cheif.
