Govt and opposition competing with each other in a race to show greater obedience to establishment: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

PESHAWAR, Oct 12 ( ): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said the government imposed on the country and the opposition sitting in the Parliament are competing with each other in a race to show greater obedience and servility to the establishment. He said this spectacle has been going on in the country for the past 78 years.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing the participants of the “Gaza March” organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Central at Kabootar Chowk, Ring Road, Peshawar. A large number of women and children also participated in the march.

Earlier, the Gaza March was also addressed by the party’s Deputy Emir Maulana Attaur Rehman, provincial Emir Maulana Abdul Wassey, General Secretary Sabir Hussain Awan, Deputy Emir Maulana Muhammad Ismail, Mian Sohaibuddin Kakakhel, district Peshawar Emir Bahrullah Khan Advocate and other speakers.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman maintained that the governments imposed by the establishment have adopted the slavery of international powers and, in order to win the blessings of leaders like Donald Trump, have played the role of silent spectators to the brutality and cruelty of Israel in Gaza and Palestine. Even after more than 67,000 children, women, and unarmed civilians have been martyred in Gaza through barbaric bombings, the conscience of these heartless rulers has not awakened, he lamented. He stressed that the time has come for the nation to unite on the platform of Jamaat-e-Islami and free itself from these soulless rulers.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said the current system in the country is crushing the people’s expectations: the courts do not deliver justice, the economy is ruled by interest, trade is not free, politics is held hostage, and democracy is constantly under attack. He said the establishment has given turns to major political parties—when it supports one party, the slogan becomes “Long live the establishment,” but when it shifts its support to another, the former party begins shouting “Down with the establishment.” In reality, both the government and the opposition are two sides of the same coin.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that government and opposition could not help the nation to get rid of this slavery of the establishment. He said that these parties could not give the message of freedom but could only chant the slogans and could wait for their turn. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that for brining real change the time has come for the nation to come out for carrying out organized struggle against these anti-masses parties from the platform of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman invited the participants of the Gaza March to attend the three-day long Ijtima-e-Aam of Jamaat-e-Islami titled “Badal Do Nizam Ko” at Minar-e-Pakistan scheduled for 21st, 22nd and 23rd November and support party’s struggle for getting rid of the current anti-public rulers.
