America patronizing massacres of Muslims everywhere: Hafiz Naeem
KUALA LUMPUR, Sep 15: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the system brought by the Last Prophet, Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), alone can save the world from chaos and corruption. Islam is a religion of compassion and goodwill.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a Seerat-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Conference in Malaysia and during meetings with the Chief Ministers of the state of Alor Setar Kedah and Perlis—Mohammad Sanusi Mohammad Nor and Mohammad Shukri Ramli—as well as PAS Party Senator Musaddiq. The conference was also addressed by Jamaat-e-Islami’s Naib Emir Dr. Ataur Rehman, President of Islamic Circle of Malaysia Dr. Muhammad Hayat, and Secretary General Sajjad Akbar
Muslims are sacrificing for the establishment of peace in the world, but America, in its enmity toward Islam, is patronizing massacres of Muslims everywhere, he said. To save humanity from war and bloodshed, it is necessary that the system based on Allah’s will be established. He urged overseas Pakistanis to support Jamaat-e-Islami in helping oppressed Muslims across the world, including those in Palestine and Kashmir.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that while Trump keeps claiming to end wars everywhere, the same America has given Israel a license to massacre Palestinians and has attacked Iran without justification. American interference in Muslim countries has increased to such an extent that it prevents them from making decisions according to their own constitutions and laws. In Pakistan and other Muslim states, U.S. intervention is no hidden matter, he remarked.
In Pakistan, America has always supported martial laws and undemocratic forces, he said and added that Jamaat-e-Islami is striving for the greater objective of freedom and sovereignty for Pakistan and the wider Islamic world, and overseas Pakistanis can play a very effective role in this struggle.
Referring to the destruction caused by heavy rains and floods in the country, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the government’s incompetence is evident in the fact that, even after the devastating floods of 1988, it never established any advance warning system. Had the rulers cared about saving the country and its people, such large-scale devastation would not have occurred. The influential class, in order to protect their own areas, sacrificed hundreds of villages and millions of people to the floods. Standing crops on hundreds of thousands of acres were destroyed, and thousands of cattle drowned, he added.
He said corruption and dishonesty have become ingrained in the rulers’ veins. If they had any fear of Allah in their hearts, they would not harm the people for their own interests. He added that people have unwavering trust in Jamaat-e-Islami. The party is serving the people and believes in the supremacy of the constitution and law, he said. Public inclination toward Jamaat-e-Islami is growing, and in the upcoming elections, Jamaat-e-Islami will demonstrate much better performance, he concluded.
