It is the failure of the judicial process and the delay at that end. Qazi Hussain Ahmad was facing a case of contempt of court, because referring to the long delay he said: "If he has failed to avail justice even as a leader of a prominent party, what could a common citizen expect." The case is before the court since 4 years and yet to be heard. In his affidavit, Mian Nawaz Sharif stated that the advertisement in the newspapers was not given by him or his party. But the Jamaat has not made just simple allegation; it has the proof that the defamatory advertisement was given and paid for, by Mr. Nawaz Sharif. The Fax that was used, was his party's office Fax. The newspapers and the advertising agencies say it was given by them (Muslim League). All the proofs are there. But Nawaz Sharif is not asked to appear before the court. It is not understood, why is he being protected?
