LAHORE, Mar 4: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad said Gen Musharraf has jeopardized the security of every citizen just to implement US agenda in the country. He said failure of Musharraf regime in maintaining security and peace could be gauged from the fact that high military and civil officers, and sensitive agencies of the establishment were not safe inside their well guarded offices. He expressed sorrow that despite all the security mess created by Gen Musharraf, he still insists that he will not resign.

Qazi said the increasing number of bomb blasts could be the result of Musharraf's stubbornness to cling on to power and Washington's open meddling in the process of government formation in Pakistan. He said Gen Musharraf must quit for the larger national interests and the security of the countrymen. Qazi prayed for the departed souls and early recovery of the wounded.
