    APDM to devise strategy if judges not restored in a week: Qazi
 

LAHORE, Apr 25: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer and APDM leader Qazi Hussain Ahmad has warned that if judged unconstitutionally sacked by Gen Musharraf were not restored within six days then APDM's future strategy would be devised in an emergent meeting.
Delivering Friday sermon at Masjid Mahabat Khan in Peshawar, Qazi said premature retirement of chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry will be fully resisted and no formula will be accepted without complete restoration of all the judges.

Qazi alleged that new rulers were delaying and hampering the restoration of judges because it was against the American interests in the region, especially regarding the notices issued by the chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhri in the mission persons cases who were picked up on American insistence. He said Mian Nawaz Sharif will have to answer before the nation in case judges were not restored in the fixed period.

He alleged that America was openly undermining Pakistan and has become totally exposed as our enemy, adding that until we considered it our enemy we could not defend ourselves against it. He cited example of Iran, saying despite defiance America could cause no harm to Iran since a government and people were of unanimous opinion there. He termed it unfortunate for the nation that our newly elected rulers marked their attendance in American embassy, saying such a politics was against national independence and sovereignty.

He warned that western countries have taken Pakistan under siege and country's security and solidarity was in serious dangers. He said the rulers must have to get rid of American war against terror immediately to pull the country out of this situation.

Qazi demanded of the new rulers to impeach president Gen retd Pervez Musharraf immediately, adding that he must be held accountable for the cold blooded massacre of innocent girls in Jamia Hafsa.

Qazi also condemned the bomb blast in Mardan saying law and order could not be restored in the country without first changing the basic policies.
