LAHORE, Feb 4: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer and MMA president Qazi Hussain Ahmad has condemned the bomb blast in Rawalpindi and express grief over loss of previous lives.

In a condolence statement on Monday, Qazi said the whole country is in the grip of insecurity, and many important cities are faced with lawlessness as a result of government policies after tribal areas, swat and Balochistan. He said Muslim blood is being spilled all over the country due to the wrong policies of Gen Musharraf. He stressed that peace could not be established in the country without first removing Gen Musahrraf, and asked the political parties to boycott the polls and joined APDM's movement against Musharraf regime.

He also offered prayers for the deceased, wounded and their family members.
