JI poised for Ijtima LAHORE, Oct 30: Preparations are underway in full swing for holding the 3-day convention of Jamaat-e-Islami members from November 2-4 (pillars) at Shamki Bhattian, 24 kms from Lahore on Multan Road. According to details final touches are being given to the main convention hall, residential tents, Wazoo Khana (abolotion place), toilets, kitchen and parking lots which are being overseen by Nazim of the convention Mian Maqsood Ahmad who is also Deputy Secretary of the Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. On Tuesday, the meeting of Parking committee was held chaired by its nazim Abdul Wahab Niazi. The meeting constituted a 40-member committee to monitor parking affairs and also appointed Saleem Shahzad Ansari, Mohammad Amin, Malik Warasat, Rasheed Chohan and Mirza Mohammad Eissa as naib nazims of Parking committee. The committee allocated a large camp with separate parking for big and small vehicles. Wahab Niazi said workers of National Labor Federations will discharge their duties round the clock for the facilitation and guidance of the participants of the convention so that visitors could be saved from all kinds of problems at the venue.
