LAHORE, Oct 30: Mr. Mohammad Din Shamsi, father of Jamaat-e-Islami Media Coordinator Shahid Shamsi, died on Tuesday in the USA at the age of 92 after a brief illness. He has gone to US to live with his son recently and was hospitalized for the last four days.

The JI ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad, secretary general Syed Munawar Hasan, Information secretary Amirul Azim and Deputy information secretary Anwar Niazi and Nadeem Sarwar has expressed condolence on his death and prayed for the blessings of the departed soul and grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
