Paracha welcome SC ban on kite flying Lahore, Nov 25: Lauding the suo moto action of Supreme Court seeking to ban Kite Flying Jamaat-e-Islami’s deputy secretary general Dr. Farid Ahmed Piracha, MNA has demanded the respective city and provincial government to enforce this decision in letter and spirit. In a statement on Friday the JI leader said certain self-serving and imprudent spectators have turned converted the kite flying game into a license to kill through the use of dangerous material and introducing extravaganza in it. This, he said, has caused loss to human life and electric material. He also condemned the role of some TV channels who are still promoting the up coming basant. |
