Turkish
team gets warm welcome in Muzaffarabad
Muzaffarabad,
Nov 23: Ten-member
Turkish delegation of Saadet Party led by Chairman M. Recai Kutan
arrived AJK capital Muzaffarabad on Wednesday. The delegation was
received by ameer Jamaat-e-Islami AJK Sardar Mohammad Afzal,
secretary-general Raja Jahangir Khan and central relief
coordinator Sheikh Aqeel-ur-Rehman.
Turk
delegates visited field hospital under the banner of Al-Khidmat
set up and run by Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA).
Besides, they also comforted the quake-hit people during their
visit to JI tentage village at Beela Noor Shah.
Addressing
a press conference at Muzaffarabad Press Club after their visit
leader of Saadet Party Recai Kutan said they are here to prove the
world that Muslims are part of one body and if one part feels pain
the entire body gets disturbed.
Ameer
of Jamaat-e-Islami AJK Sardar Afzal assured the delegation that
they will continue their task of relief and rehabilitation with
the aid and expertise of Muslims from across the world. He thanked
the Turkish delegates for their visit and appreciated Turkish help
after the Oct 8 earthquake.
