Liaqat greets Malik Qayyum for winning SC Bar election Lahore, Nov 1: Naib ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and MMA’s deputy secretary-general Liaqat Baloch has felicitated Justice (R) Malik Qayyum for winning Presidential election of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan. In a greeting message on Tuesday Liaqat Baloch said victory of Malik Qayyum is manifestation of the trust senior lawyers of the country repose in his person and his ability to promote democracy, uphold rule of law and decency in the country. He said lawyers belonging to MMA in major cities like Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and in twin-city of Rawalpindi/Islamabad including leadership of the alliance Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman played important role in mobilizing lawyers community to vote for Malik Qayyum. |
