LAHORE Jan 11: Resolution on Jamaat-e-Islami Central Council (Shoora) has cautioned against the great dangers to the security and peace of the world particularly to the regions of Middle East and Asia because of fast growing US hegemony.In a resolution on world situation, the Shoora said after destroying Afghanistan for uncommitted crimes and conquering Iraq under a hoax of searching WMD's the US is now threatening Iran and Syria with the same fate. Washington is dubbing Muslim Ummah as the source of terrorism to implement its agenda against Muslim countries while it is patronizing Israel, which is the real source and perpetrator of global terrorism, by providing it all latest weapons, financial aid and other resources to carry out its terrorism against Palestinians.The Shoora observed that after Yasser Arafat the US is now preparing and coercing Mehmood Abbas (Abu Mazen) for the implementation of one point agenda of uprooting Palestinian Mujahedin and their resistance against Israeli occupation. Abu Mazen (who is among the architects of Oslo accord of 93) has not learnt any lesson from his predecessor Yasser Arafat. The basic aim of this agenda is an aggressive crackdown against Palestinian resistance groups like Hamas and create an infighting among Palestinians. The election of over half of Hamas candidates shows its popularity among Palestinian people and the group is struggling against the unjust Zionist occupation of Palestine and its atrocities on the native inhabitants at every level. Same is the policy of other resistance groups like "Jihad-e-Islami" and "Al-Fatah". If at this juncture Mehmood Abbas focus his attention on neutralizing Intifidah instead of countering Zionist atrocities than it will be the greatest misfortune of the Palestinian people and will consolidate Zionist occupation of the First Qibla of Ummah.The Shoora pays tributes to all Palestinian martyrs and expresses solidarity with all prisoners and those in exile, and appeals to them to forge complete unity among their ranks. It appeals to the world community particularly the Muslim countries to play their role in bringing back the usurped rights and independence of the Palestinian people. This, the Shoora says, is the only solution to the Middle East problem while all other 'roadmaps' and formulae will lead the situation to a dead end.The Shoora demands an immediate end to the US occupation of Iraq and halting all US atrocities. The electoral drama being staged in Iraq on January 30 will neither redress victimized Iraqi people nor relieve US of the quagmire it has created in Iraq. US is conspiring to divide Iraq into Shia, Sunni and
Kurd populations and install a puppet regime so as to weaken its strength to hurt Israeli interests in the region. Shoora expressed compete solidarity with Iraqi people's resistance movement against the US occupation and appeal to them not to be taken in by any temptation of money, trap or threat and main total unity among their ranks to combat the enemies.Shoora also demanded the families of the dead US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq to force their government to change its policies which have killed,
wounded and paralyzed billions of people of the world while on the other hand deprived thousands of US families from their loved ones. Shoora warned that if US people did not force their government to change its destructive policies and to cease its occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, and keep implementing treacherous designs against other Muslim countries of the region like Iran, Syria and Pakistan than the devastating outcome of those policies will not spare the American people from tasting the results of their rulers' war mongering of the world, besides ruining innocent people in victims countries.The Shoora demanded of Muslim countries particularly Pakistan to take serious notice of the US threats to Saudia Arabic,Syria and Iran otherwise the same charge sheet will be issued against all Muslim countries which is being hurled against these two brother countries and earlier framed against Afghanistan and Iraq.The Shoora makes a fervent appeal to whole Muslim Ummah to take shelter under the vast blessings of The Almighty amidst present tormentous moments, make a serious recourse to the teachings of the Holy Quran and forge complete unity among its ranks according to it. Create genuine democratic and just system in their respective countries where both people and rulers could become a unified force against the enemies. Shoora reminds the Muslim Ummah that the people of Palestine, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan have given them the message that not the fear and subjugation but honor, resistance sacrifice is the only way to deliverance.
