JI relief coordinator visits quake hit areas, reviews rehabilitation work Lahore, Dec 29: Central Relief Coordinator of JI social welfare wing Alkhidmat Naimatullah Khan, advocate paid visit to quake-hit areas in NWFP district Mansehra on Thursday, says a press release. He was accompanied by local ameer Dr Tariq Shirazi, president of NWFP Al-Khidmat wing Mohammad Misbah and ameer of JI Balakot Shaukat Hussain. During his visit, he reviewed the newly constructed shelters homes set up by Al-Khidmat and also inspected workshops and saw units helping the locals to get ready raw material for construction of homes using iron sheets. He also opened a mosques constructed at Garlat. While talking to people on this occasion, he said, Jamaat-e-Islami has distributed 50,000 iron sheets and more such sheets are being imported for onward transportation to the affected areas. |
