MMA MP urges MPs with medical degrees to serve in quake-hit areas Lahore, Dec 29: Member Provincial Assembly Dr Wasim Ahmed and his wife Dr Samina Rohi Wasim offered voluntarily medical serves in Jamaat-e-Islami's Al-Khidmat Hospital at Muzaffarabad (AJK), says a press release. According to details, Lady Dr. Samina Wasim performed medical duties in Genecology Ward and Ultra Sound section of the hospital while Dr. Wasim served in the emergency unit. In a statement, Dr Wasim has said the majority of sick people are suffering from nervous tension and depression. He said the chilling cold is causing diseases like pneumonia, chest and respiratory infection. He appealed the parliamentarian with medical degrees to spare some time for taking part in medical relief activities. This, he said, will enable them to ascertain the plight and sufferings of affected people. |
