JI
ameer castigates US doctrine of "pre-emptive strike"
Lahore,
Dec 16: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer and president of Muttahida
Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said neither Iran
nor Syria but the US doctrine of pre-emptive strike is the real
"axis of evil" which empowers her to attack any country
without approval from world bodies.
He was delivering Jumma sermon at Jamia Mansoorah on
Friday. Qazi Hussain Ahmad said Muslims over the entire globe are
persecuted despite all resources in their hands because their
respective governments are not willing to take any practical steps
to mitigate their sufferings.
The JI leader took strong exception to certain measures
taken along the LoC as a prelude to accord the ceasefire line
status of international border.
Qazi Hussain Ahmad said all those countries who don't
recognize Israel indeed endorse the viewpoint of Iranian President
regarding the illegitimate status of Zionist state on the
Palestinian land but they don't vocally call for cessation to the
Israeli atrocities against innocent Palestinians for reasons.
He deplored that Islamabad is making advances towards
recognition of Israel in sheer violation of historical injustices
done to the blessed land of First Qibla and the struggling
Palestinians.
The masses, he said, can fight back such policies provided
they are fully aware about the designs of their enemies. He said
Jamaat-e-Islami is mobilizing the people towards this end in line
with the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) who did not bifurcate
religion and politics but finely gelled them to produce a
wholesome and an ideal Islamic society in the Arab peninsula.
The JI leader expressed dismay over the coercive measures
perpetrated against the Jamaat's volunteer doctors, by the army,
taking care of earthquake survivor Ms Naksha Bibi, who was
recovered alive after 65 days from the debris of demolished home.
He said she is given world-class medical treatment and
sympathetic care by the JI volunteers but army officers are
forcing them to transfer the survivor to CMH Rawalpindi as it is
desired by their "high-ups".
Jamaat-e-Islami, he said, is taking part in relief and
rehabilitation of quake-hit people deeming it their religious duty
and they will continue to perform it with the help and cooperation
of the people despite all odds and hurdles by the government. |
