Qazi grieved on loss of lives in bus inferno Lahore, Dec 12: Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Qazi Hussain Ahmad has expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the tragic incident of bus inferno which claimed frothy lives and caused injuries to many others in Lahore on Sunday. In a statement on Monday Qazi Hussain Ahmad said it is deplorable that government has given free hand to prepare explosive material in densely populated areas which has resulted in disastrous situation many a time in the past. “Fireworks causing resounding at night have marred the peace of cities especially affecting the students and patients.” He said Lahore bus inferno is result of negligence on the part of law enforcing agencies. He comforted the grieved families who lost their near and dear ones in this tragic incident and demanded ban on dangerous fireworks and strict penalty for those who violate the law. |
